Testimonials
"In Florian Simon Krefting, I found an exceptionally appreciative and inspiring composer... I often had to communicate my visions in Sounds, cryptic, or very abstract descriptions. Florian managed to translate these thoughts into a musical language that gave the film an additional, profound dimension. His instinct for mood, his understanding of dramaturgy, and his meticulous attention to detail gave me great confidence in our collaboration.
His approach was not only professional but also artistically enriching. Florian didn’t just supply me with musical suggestions – he actively helped shape the entire process. He conducted long interviews with me, asked targeted questions about my vision for the musical design, and insisted on in-depth conversations for every scene. These discussions often lasted for hours and opened up new perspectives on my own film that I hadn’t considered before.
His creative flair and analytical view of film and music gave me fresh impulses that added lasting value to the project. I am deeply grateful to Florian for his dedication, patience, and profound understanding of the interplay between image and music. Our conversations always took place on equal footing, which made the collaboration an enriching experience. I’m very much looking forward to future projects together – and to continuing to create art with Florian."
